Instrument Technology Inc. is a leading innovator in medical devices contract design, development and manufacturing. Our expertise in medical devices product engineering and a state-of-the-art 24,000 square foot facility, enables us to offer you the highest quality device designs and production lines.
Our roots run as far back as 1967 when our founders established ITI with a focus on industrial instruments for inspection and observation. In 2016, five decades on, ITIâs ownership changed hands from the Founders to longtime Naval Academy friends and US Navy Veterans Joseph Dorrian and J.J. Shields (We are a Veteran Owned Small Business â VOSB). Joe Dorrian and J.J. Shields draw from their extensive experiences in GE Aviation, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Deloitte, and Healthcare finance to spearhead ITI to a whole new level of business.

Under our new leadership, ITI gained the ISO 13485:2016 certifications, an enormous feat for a small business. Their vast experience in leading Medical device organizations has set ITI on an evolutionary journey, offering Design, Development, Proof of Concept and Manufacturing support every step of the way for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). We specialize in a wide array of fixed and articulating endoscopes, laparoscopes, gastroscopes, videoscopes and robotic surgery device components that are used in commonly recognized medical applications.
Our highly trained and experienced technicians ensure precise assembly of all devices. Our documentation and process controls are adhered to meticulously, to comply with all GMP guidelines for medical devices. Our Quality Assurance personnel use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to ensure consistently high performance of our finished products.
